A Sneak peek into
Super Size ME

Super Size Me is a 2004 documentary film written, produced, directed by and starring Morgan Spurlock, an American independent filmmaker. Spurlock's film follows a 30-day time period (February 2003) during which he subsists entirely on food and items purchased exclusively from McDonald's, and the film documents this lifestyle's drastic effects on Spurlock's physical and psychological well-being and explores the fast food industry's corporate influence, including how it encourages poor nutrition for its own profit. During the filming, Spurlock dined at McDonald's restaurants three times per day, sampling every item on the chain's menu at least once. He also super sized his meal every time he was asked. He consumed an average of 5,000 kcal (the equivalent of 9.26 Big Macs) per day during the experiment.

In February 2005, Super Size Me Educationally Enhanced DVD edition was released. It is an edited version of the film designed to be integrated into a high school health curriculum.

MSNBC has also broadcast an hour long version of the film, in addition to the regular
version.

Before launching this experiment, Spurlock, age 32 at the time the movie was filmed in 2003, ate a varied diet but always had vegan evening meals to appease his then-girlfriend (now wife), Alexandra, a vegan chef. Spurlock was healthy and slim, and stood 6 feet 2 inches (188 cm) tall with a body weight of 185.5 lb (84.1 kg).

After thirty days, he gained 24.5 lb (11.1 kg), a 13% body mass increase, and his
Body Mass Index rose from 23.2 (within the 'healthy' range of 19-25) to 27 ('overweight'). He also experienced mood swings, sexual dysfunction, and liver damage. It took Spurlock fourteen months to lose the weight he gained. The stated driving factor for Spurlock's investigation was the increasing spread of obesity throughout U.S. society, which the Surgeon General has declared "epidemic," and the corresponding lawsuit brought against McDonald's on behalf of two overweight girls, who, it was alleged, became obese as a result of eating McDonald's food.

Spurlock points out that although the lawsuit against McDonald's failed (and subsequently many state legislatures have legislated against product liability actions against producers and distributors of "fast food"), much of the same criticism leveled against the
tobacco companies applies to fast food franchises, although it could be argued that fast food, though physiologically addictive,[1][2] is not as addictive as nicotine.

The documentary was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature.

See you this Friday!

Do mark this date down for another Inspirational Movie Night-Out this Thurs.

Movie: Millionaire Awaken Your Secret

This is a movie that I wanted to watch since last year.

Yeah, finally got a chance to do so now.
Would like to invite you to join me.

Send me an sms +60123083271 whether you can make it for this date.

Cheers,
Nick

A Sneak Peek Into "Millionaire Awaken Your Secret"

Millionaire awaken your secret, is one of the most powerful films you will ever experience. It is raw in its depiction and flawless in its delivery. It will take you on a journey that will challenge you to the core and shake the rust off your creative mind.

It takes you on a visual journey as one man physically, emotionally, psychologically and Financially challenges and changes himself.

Every emotion throughout this journey is captured for you to analyze. Every tribulation shown, every humbling experience shared with you, every pitfall exposed and every joy and success captured.

As this penniless man sits in his empty apartment with creditors knocking on his door trying to implement these strategies, he gets knocked down continuously and all this is captured in this raw documentary for you to see and be inspired.

After you watch the documentary you will understand why we feel this will be a turning point in your life as it has been in ours. It’s a tribute to Martin for having the courage to film everything and laying everything bare; our collective thoughts have been forever altered.

We live in an information world; the total knowledge available on earth doubles every two years, compare this to the fact that the world knowledge used to double every 75 years a few decades ago and you will understand why it is so hard to keep things permanent in our minds and more importantly in our hearts.

Just in case you are lost, this is the map to the Movie Night.

A Sneak peek into “What the Bleep Do We Know... ” :
What the Bleep Do We Know is a new kind of film - a documentary-drama. The amazing awareness that comes with viewing the original version is
even more heightened with this "Down The Rabbit Hole" version of three discs and 6 sides of material.

The lead part is played by Academy Award winner Marlee Matlin who finds herself in an Alice in Wonderland experience when her daily, uninspiring
life begins to unravel revealing the uncertain world of the quantum field hidden behind what we consider to be our normal, waking reality.

While she experiences men issues, work issues, other relationship issues this film introduces fourteen top scientists and mystics making this an
experience that will change your life as it shakes the foundation of what we have been taught as they discuss the hows and whys of inner-connectedness.

Join Us on our Journey to discover how Quantum Science can explain about our Personal Success & Achievements in Life!!
